Quantity Surveyor – Building & Construction – Jersey, Channel Islands.
This established construction and leading housing developer are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in their Jersey office on the Channel Islands. My client has a renowned reputation for the unique design and build quality of high-end quality houses and commercial buildings and currently have secured projects into 2019 with other tenders under consideration.
You will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor who can support continued residential and commercial business growth, reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor and will be responsible for controlling the day to day commercial aspects on one or more new build or refurbishment projects typically from £1Million to £30Million.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with a main contractor
• Must have strong oral/written communication and presentation skills
• Must be an excellent organiser with proven time management skills
• Must have detailed knowledge and understanding of tendering and procurement processes
• Must have a sound working knowledge of various forms of contracts including NEC, JCT and FIDIC within the construction industry
