Works/ Office Manager

WINSCOMBE (NORTH SOMERSET) AREA

Description:

My client is increasing their work force. They are looking for a hands-on Manager to compliment the team. You will be managing an office more than the people in it. The staff are fully up to speed with their tasks and can work on their own initiative.

Some of your weekly tasks will include (but not inclusive of) :-

• Maintaining a diary system for the Engineers – making sure their days are full and productive.
  
• Adding to Data bases (so a good knowledge of IT systems would be an advantage)
• Dealing with clients on a day to day basis 
• Be able to develop new systems, so a methodical approach is needed
• Updating spread sheets (knowledge of excel and word is essential to this role

Attributes you will need for this role include (but not inclusive of) :-

• Time management skills
  
• Preparing Quotations
• Speaking with suppliers arranging deliveries etc
  
• A hands-on attitude is a must – this role requires someone who does not mind coming to work in a pair of jeans! This is a working office and not for a suit.
  
• Management experience – Works and Office
  
• IT knowledge (Excel – Word – Powerpoint)
  
• Excellent customer service skills
