Technical Administrator

My client is a leading construction and building company based in Totnes. Due to growth and expansion in the business, they have an exciting new opportunity for a Technical Administrator to join their small, friendly team full-time. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with customers and operational planning. Good organisation and customer service skills are essential for this role.

Job Description
• Liaising with customers via phone and email
• Dealing with customer enquiries
• Obtain quotes from contractors and suppliers
• Producing schedules of works and emailing it over to customers
• Ordering materials and stock control
• Recording monthly stock figures and creating a breakdown
• Preparation of quotes for customers
• After sales warranty and support

Person Specification
• Must have administration, organisation and planning experience
• Must have excellent customer skills, organisation skills and telephone manner
• Must have good computer skills, experience of using email, MS word and spreadsheet
• Candidates with administration experience within a construction, building, electrical or mechanical environment would be advantageous

Package: Negotiable salary paying between £17,000 to £22,000 dependant on experience, 20 days holiday + 8 Statutory days, company pension, onsite parking
