Description:

My client is looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor for their new exciting project. They are a building contractor and they provide high end quality construction services to

London developers. You will provide the business with cost management for set developments from land procurement to the completion of sub-contract final accounts. 

Duties:

• You will be attending meetings as required
  
• Liaise with all management and provide all forecasts and site budget information
  
• You will issue all payment withhold notices
  
• Ensure all invoices are processed in accordance with company guidelines
  
• Process all ground work payments
  
• Maintain final account schedule
  
• Complete formal site close-down in accordance with company guidelines
  
• Ensure all health & safety requirements are in-situ with company guidelines

Essential Criteria

• Experience of 5 years
• Qualified by RICS
  
• Ability to assess and analyse information
  
• Good business sense
  
• Good understanding of budget management
  
• Negotiating and networking skills
  
• Excellent communications skills
  
• Able to work under pressure, and accept criticism of work
  
• Good team working skills
  
• Accurate with an eye for detail
  
• A methodical approach
