Working Foreman

Description:

Harbron are looking to recruit on behalf of a General Building company with over 20 years in the trade who are based in the beautiful Torbay area.

We are looking for a Qualified Working Site Foreman preferably with a Carpentry background. The site to which you will be working on is based in Torquay, you will be overseeing a multitude of trades ranging from window fitters, tilers, plasterers, general labour and builders. The project itself is a refurbishment on an old property looking over the sea.


Responsibilities:

Completing all inductions
Toolbox talks
Organising all trades on site
Reporting progress
Supervising contracted construction workers
Meeting subcontractors
Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
Maintaining quality control checks
Motivating the workforce throughout the project
Day to day problem solving
Ensure compliance and Health and Safety Regulations are in place and met at all times

The ideal candidate must be able to have the following:

Carpentry Experience (required)
Common sense

Pay rate is negotiable depending on experience

Duration: On-going

Rate: From £20.00 to £22.00 per hour
