Groundworks Foreman

Description:

My client is a successful Civil Engineering company and they are currently recruiting a Groundworks Foreman to be part of their onsite
team covering sites in the North West of England. The successful candidate will have experience in supervising full cycle projects from groundwork through
to finishing in particular housing sites and possess knowledge of all areas of groundworks. You will also haven a proven track record of driving production onsite and working on successful, quality, safe & profitable projects.

Duties:

• To assess work activities to be carried out, plan the resources required in conjunction with the site programme to ensure that deadlines are met and related works are carried out in the correct sequence
  
• To make assessments based on available data and to make sound decisions on the safest, most cost effective method of operation
  
• To ensure all tasks are being carried out properly and safety
  
• Follow H & S procedures at all times
  

Essential Criteria:

• Groundworks/ Civil Engineering background
  
• SSSTS/SMSTS
  
• Plant Knowledge (current CPCS excavator qualification would be beneficial)
  
• Experience and knowledge of building adoptable roads and drainage systems
  
• Right to work in the UK

Duration: Permanent

Salary: Negotiable
