Fixed Plant Operative – Newton Abbot

£14.68 per hour • Ongoing Position

We are recruiting a Fixed Plant Operative for our client’s busy site in Newton Abbot. This is an ongoing, long-term role, perfect for someone who is reliable, consistent, and keen to learn.
No experience is needed as full training will be given.

Shift work;
Candidate will be working a shift pattern. Shifts will either be
6am to 2pm
2pm to 10pm.

What You’ll Do

Operate and monitor fixed plant machinery
Carry out daily maintenance checks and report issues
Support general site tasks (cleaning, loading, material handling)
Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures
Work closely with the team to maintain smooth operations
What We’re Looking For

Reliable and committed individual
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible with tasks and working hours
Own transport is essential (site location not accessible by public transport)
Full PPE required
