Site Labourer / General Operative

Location: Channings Wood Prison, Devon

Pay Rate: £16.68 per hour

We are currently recruiting for 3 Site Labourers / General Operatives to work on a secure project at Channings Wood Prison.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy site with immediate starts available upon completion of the required security clearance.

Requirements
Previous construction or site experience preferred
Valid DBS certificate (essential)
Ability to obtain BPSS clearance
Reliable and hardworking attitude
Own transport preferred
Security Clearance

Due to the secure nature of the site, all operatives must successfully complete BPSS clearance before being granted access.

Please note:

A valid DBS certificate is required before BPSS can be processed.
Previous BPSS clearances will not be accepted by the site's security team.
All successful candidates must complete a new BPSS application.
We will arrange the BPSS process.
Clearance typically takes 2–3 working days to complete.
PPE Requirements

This site operates a strict 7-point PPE policy. Operatives must have:

Safety boots with midsole protection
Yellow high-visibility trousers (orange trousers are not permitted)
Hard hat with a 4-point chin strap
Appropriate site PPE at all times
