Description:

My client a market leading contractor in the Southwest are looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team at the Hinkley Point Nuclear site.

This enormous civil engineering project requires the Quality Engineer to make sure the clients demands are fulfilled, in relation to specification and schedule, and that the correct materials and workmanship are used to ensure quality and value for money.

The Quality Engineer should drive Quality Management and improvement, and ensure that compliance, quality control and supervision is maintained.

Audits should be undertaken in accordance with the audit schedule. In addition good working relations with the client and design team should be fostered at all times.

You should comply with BMS the company’s business management system.

The successful candidate should have an industry recognised qualification either an HNC/HND/BEng/Meng and experience of audit and surveillance against IMS.

Salary: From £40000 to £45000 per Annum
