My client a leading building services consultancy requires a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to work on a variety of prestigious building services projects from their Bristol office. The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree, achieved CEng or IEng through an appropriate engineering institution and have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. You will ideally be hard working and driven.

This is a great opportunity for someone that would like to develop their career and work for a successful building service company that delivers engineering design solutions to clients across the UK, on projects in sectors such as Aviation, Education, Energy and Transportation.

Essential Criteria:

• Have a mechanical building services background
  
• Confident and experience in leading design projects
  
• Previous experience in managing engineering teams
  
• Experience in Revit, Cymap or Hevacomp
  
• Able to represent the company to potential clients and design team meetings
  
• Have a commercial, financial and contractual understanding of working in a building consulting practice.

Duties:

• Overseeing and liaising with clients and working with the project design team.
  
• Managing the staff, training and mentoring graduates
  
• Leading the projects
  
• Preparing drawings for drafting by the CAD team

Duration: Permanent

Salary: From £60000.00 to £75000.00 per Annum
