Head of Construction



Our client a multi award winning, large build contractor is seeking to recruit for the senior position of Head of Construction.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the construction department and leading the delivery of each development, ensuring targets and deadlines are achieved. Health & Safety across the business and delivering projects according to company policy is at the heart of this role and the ability to identify and implement change when required is an essential quality. The candidate will need to have a strong proven track record of managing a large successful department, a good understanding of the roles of contract managers reporting to them, and a comprehensive knowledge of the challenges faced when managing projects of differing sizes and specifications. The role reports to the regional Managing Director.

The successful candidate must be prepared to travel throughout the southwest to visit sites where required.
