Senior Engineer/Estimator

South Devon 

Description:

My client is looking for expansion and with that comes new employees. The addition they are looking is a Senior Engineer.

You will be based in South Devon and covering an area to include Devon, Cornwall and Somerset.

Estimator, Excavations & Sewer Rehab responsible for contract works and pricing delivery

Your key responsibilities include: - 

• Developing scheme prices
• Evaluating and provide detailed costings for new tenders
• Preparing and submitting Target Costs for approval
• Undertaking Post Completion Reviews
• Preparing Final Account and Activity Benchmark Sheets
• Certifying Subcontractor Payments
• Attending pre-start and close out meetings
• Verifying Subcontractor returns
• Raising Task Orders
• Authorising Subcontractor Orders/ payments
• Complying with QM systems
• Actively promoting Health and Safety in the workplace
• Provision of monthly cost reports for key clients

Attributes we are looking for to fulfil this exceptional role include: -

• A degree/HND level qualified in a relevant discipline or suitable demonstrable relevant experience
• Knowledge of NEC3 Term Service Contracts, JCT Contracts and BIW software an advantage
• Liaison with key clients
• Knowledge of “no dig” technology an advantage

Interviews will be held week commencing the 5th of March 2018 at the clients premises in South Devon

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £38000 per Annum
