Technical Sales Consultant – Outskirts of Exeter £22,000 - £28,500 a year plus commission OTE up to £60,000 PA

My client who is located on the outskirts of Exeter are manufacturers and suppliers of specialist building materials within the construction industry, they specialise in its own range of thin-coat renders, monocouche renders, external wall insulation, rainscreen cladding and UPVC plasterers beading.

They pride themselves on providing customers with the highest level of customer service and technical support.

Your role will be working in a team, constantly looking for and generating new business opportunities. You will finalise and close sales, meeting with a variety of potential clients including House-Builder Commercial Managers, Construction Company Directors, Applicators and Architects. You will be based from the office; but may spend several days each week on field sales across the UK and may be required to stay away from home.

As a Technical Sales Consultant you will work with a team of professionals who are supportive and highly motivated. Continued training will be provided so you can effectively work towards your targets. This is a demanding role that requires a real drive to succeed.

Full product training will be provided.

This is a salary-based position with huge opportunities for an experienced sales person.

Your daily/weekly tasks will include: -

• Increasing company turnover and exceeding targets
• Closing sales
• Seeking out new clients and generating new sales opportunities and build on existing relationships.
• You will answer client queries professionally and efficiently and ensure the company's maximum sales potential is realised.
  

Attributes required for this exciting role include: -

• Business development experience, with a proven sales track record.
• Experience within the House-Builder market would be preferable.
• Out-bound telephone sales experience
• The ability to manage, write and present high quality proposals and sales presentations.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with a high degree of professionalism.
• Enthusiasm, self-motivation and a positive outlook.
• Access to some form of transport as this location is not accessible by public transport.

• A fantastic salary of up to £28,000 PA with the potential to earn up to £60,000 PA
