Internal Sales Person

NEWTON ABBOT (DEVON) AREA

Description:

My client is looking for an additional telephone sales/internal sales person for their growing business near Exeter. 

You will work in a great team, and possess a "can do" attitude to fit in with the other team members.

In your new role you will report directly to the Sales Supervisor.

Some of your daily/weekly duties will include (but not inclusive of): -

• Following up on quotes and enquiries 
• Promoting the company at all times when communicating with the clients
• Processing quotations for new projects 
• Maintaining the in house computer system 
• Actively contacting clients to update client details 
• Develop leads and enquiries from clients converting these to sales
• Prepare and send out quotations for repeat orders
• Take sales calls when the team are busy
• Be prepared to talk to customers on the trade counter 

Attributes we are looking for include (but again not inclusive of): -

• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
• Experience of Word and Excel 
• Be in possession of a UK driving licence (minimum 3 years - this is for the clients insurance)
• Have experience in a similar field - preferably within the engineering sector

Duration: Permanent 

Salary: From £20,000 to £24,000 per Annum DOE
