Field Sales Representative

South West Area

Description:

My client is the largest independent supplier of concrete products in Cornwall & Devon - their heritage spans 50 years with a staffing of 240 and counting. You could be the 241st employee to join this family run business.

This position although with an office base, will predominately be field based. You will be joining an already successful team of sales representatives. Calling on business old and new selling the companies products.

Your weekly/daily tasks will include (but not inclusive of): -

• Customer account management 
• Sales visits - to existing and new clients
• Be able to promote the full range of products to include Aggregates, Hardcore, Ready Mixed Concrete and Asphalts (so a good understanding and experience in these sectors is essential)
• Be able to cover the whole of Devon

Experiences/Qualifications

• To have had previous experience of working in a customer facing role in construction materials, Ideally a minimum of 5 years.
• A proven knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• A can do attitude
• The ability to work on your own initiative
• Be able to inspire your clients with product knowledge 
• Be able to manage your own diary
