Plant Delivery Driver

Description:

My client is a successful Northern Irish plant hire company that has been trading for over 43 years, they are currently going through a period of growth and need to add a Plant Delivery Driver to join their team in Avomouth.  It has quickly established a high reputation for service and the equipment in its rental fleet

You will be responsible for all aspects for the delivery and collection of various plant items, loading, securing, safe transportation of all equipment. completion of paper work, inspection and collection of plant items, It is likely that from time to time some of these activities will fall outside of normal working hours.

The candidate:

It is envisaged the successful applicant in addition to having experience with delivery and collection of mechanical plant will also be polite, presentable and have the ability to interact in professional and helpful manner with customers, have a flexible attitude to working hours, it is expected that the applicant will be able to drive, load and deliver construction equipment, the applicant would have had experience with strapping, chaining and securing loads, An HGV licence is required.

This position is available as a result of the continued growth and expansion at their depot in Bristol which serves the South West region.
