Procurement Administrator/Manager



Great opportunity available to join a reputable and established business in Newton Abbot, We are recruiting for this great company, this position is permanent and full time.

The purpose of the role is to support the procurement and supply chain team based in Newton Abbot.

You will be responsible for the assistance of –

  • Liaising with Surveyors on site
  • Being a first point of contact for any queries relating to the company
  • Creating and Checking subcontract queries and questions
  • Cash reports and addressing delivery & pricing queries
  • Updating standard reports and assisting the Managing Director when needed
  • The creation & emailing of supplier orders including credit card orders, small orders & Service Engineering orders

The ideal candidate will –

  • Have previous experience of working in a Procurement and/or Subcontract Administration role
  • Have good communication skills (oral and written) and work well within a team environment with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Have excellent IT skills and experience is using Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Have accuracy and attention to detail and an interest in administration, with ability to use own initiative

Duration: Permanent
