Production Planner

My client, a long standing and reputable company is looking for a new recruit due to increase in orders and productivity. You will be coordinating production workflow for one or multiple products within the factory.

Duties will include: -

• Planning and prioritising operations to ensure maximum performance.
• Determining manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand, to be able to forecast with peaks and troughs.
  
• You will be the one to ensure all goods are produced on time for distribution in a profitable manner.
• You will be organised and results-driven with great problem-solving skills.
• Advanced communication and computer skills are needed to carry out this role successfully.
• The overall goal is to ensure the smooth and cost-efficient flow of all production operations.
  
  

Requirements needed for this prestigious position include: -

• Proven experience as Production Planner in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles and procedures.
• Experience in MRP II (Manufacturing resource planning).
• Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
• Good at Mathematics and Statistics.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
