Commercial Manager

My client an international Business providing global products across the world.
They have grown brands over 30 years and are still growing.
This position for a Commercial Manager is a key role within this group.
You will report directly to the Financial Director
As their next key hire you will be responsible for developing, leading and managing all commercial activities of the business both from a customer and supplier perspective, ensuring that profitable business growth is accelerated and that commercial success is achieved.
You will work with management teams across this group of companies which will require regular commutes to and from their Hampshire and Devon sites.
Some of your daily and weekly duties will include: -
Assisting with the development and implementation of a commercial strategy for the business
Engaging and assisting with all Bid proposals (Legal and Commercial aspects)
Leading the reviews of all commercial contracts
Acting as a subject matter expert in relation to UK Defence Contracts
Acting as a subject matter expert in relation to NEC3 Construction Contracts
Supporting Business stream leads and project managers in all commercial matters and negotiations with Customers
Assisting with the management and delivery of all Industrial Co-operation agreements that may be in existence at any time.
What we are looking for in the nest Commercial Manager includes: -
Candidates to be qualified to degree level and preferably have worked in an engineering or defence contracting company.
Compatible with the practices of a privately owned SME company.
