Description:
The primary focus of the role is Credit Control for 4 Group Companies.
However, the role is not limited to Credit Control and there is a requirement to be involved in all other financial aspects of the business. We are seeking an outgoing proactive thinking individual who is not afraid to ask questions or to get involved in Financial duties and will seek out and suggest improvements to current processes. The role duties include but again not limited to;
Credit control:
To recover outstanding cash on invoices across all our client’s operating companies by using telephone, emails or letter in line with our client’s collections procedure
To carry out credit checking when required
To ensure that credit facilities are monitored and controlled effectively
Allocate cash in accordance with client remittances
Processing and generating reminder letters and client statements
Liaising with the sales and accounts receivable teams to resolve outstanding queries
Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices
Working to strict monthly and annually collections targets including but not restricted to DSO
To ensure aged debt and disapproved debt is kept to a minimum by prioritising aged balances for collection and ensuring all queries are promptly resolved
Daily and month end reporting and account reconciliations
Time sheets:
Weekly Timesheet collection and administration
Weekly Timesheet approval
Invoicing:
Weekly Invoicing to currently approx. 75 customers
Ad hoc Customer queries
Administration:
Setting up suppliers
Purchase Ordering
Office Administration
Adhoc duties as required by Management
Duration: Permanent
