Description:

We are recruiting on behalf of our client in Exeter, they are looking for a Project Officer/Co-ordinator for their offices in Exeter.
This position is for 12 months commencing early February 2020.

Some of your duties will include are: -

Managing minor development projects from beginning to end
Offering advice and guidance to customers seeking advise on all existing and new projects
Making site visits and attending any meetings to discuss developments
Liaise with Building Control and other departments to ensure all projects can be delivered on time
Process any applications that are deemed necessary so that projects can be completed
Manage any appeals and attend any external meetings deemed necessary for project completion
Investigate any complaints
Respond to any general planning related enquires on site
Deal with all correspondence relating to your case load and respond accordingly
And, contribute to the already excellent service offered to all callers (face to face or telephone)

Attributes that are essential to the role include: -

A degree (preferably in Town and Country Planning or a related discipline)
Ability to work in a team
Evidence of negotiating skills
Ability to communicate advise clearly and effectively
Ability to organise your workload accordingly

On offer to you is: -

An hourly rate of between £12.60 - £13.64 per hour
A Monday to Friday working week
12 months contract
PAYE

Rate: From £11.60 to £13.60 per hour
