Trainee Surveyor

Description:

Our client is an established home improvement business and they are looking for a self - motivated individual with a good practical approach to problem solving and a proactive attitude to join their team as a trainee surveyor. When you join this great company, you will learn the ropes from start to finish, so even if you are out in the field, you will be in the office taking initial enquiry to the end stage.

Duties:

• You will be responsible for assisting the day to day management of a number of a projects, including responsibility for project delivery, resolving any issues that occur and invoicing. 
  
• Taking the initial call/ enquiry and speaking to the client in depth about what they are looking for, arranging for the surveyor (you and your line manager) to go and meet and greet the client.
  
• Learning to survey homes for improvements including driveways, gardens, fencing & decking.
  
• Preparing cost estimates and plans.
